One of the biggest companies, which regularly collects data in e-sports, has monitored the views of video games in 2015 and 2016 on the streaming site of Twitch. The undisputed leader were fans League of Legends - their game in the last 2015 viewed by more than 1 billion hours, which is several times larger than the nearest competitor Counter-Strike and DOTA 2.

As you can see, the top four PC games at the end of 2015 came top esports games:

1. League of Legends - 1,028 million hours of (more than 1 billion hours).

2. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - 553 million hours.

3. DotA 2 - 436 million hours.

4. Hearthstone - 398 million hours..

If you look at the details of the data, we see that the League of Legends, which has developed and maintains Riot Games, every day (!) viewed on Twitch 2.8 million hours. This is 2 times more than CSGO (Valve) - 1.5 million hours views per day.

This "Big Four" games and defines all content streaming and meets their requirements. A League of Legends - unconditional №1 among them.

Also in 2016 views League of Legends have grown in comparison with last year at 10% +. You can see this in the following charts.

In August last year Twitch just torn from the influx, included these fans stream. On the platform was recorded record for simultaneous viewing of 2.1 million users. At that time, we were two of the tournament: ESL One Cologne (CSGO) and North American LCS Finals (LOL).

Also worth noting two other esports games, in addition to the "Big Four": StarCraft 2 and Call of Duty. At the same time, Call of Duty - the only game of the six, which is represented not only for PC.

Also, the study authors identified 10 best new games 2015 (for viewing on Twitch).

I would especially like to note the first two places: Fallout (12.6 mln.) and Call of Duty: Black Ops III (12.4 mln.). Also ranking newcomer Overwatch c 6.5 million hours of viewing for 2015, I think, still will be felt in 2016.
